Netsoft are set to revolutionise the Aged Care Industry by releasing its BETA version of its Res~Call mobile application add on module that can be run on a Pocket PC.

 

Multi purposed – a key aspect of Res~Call mobile are the pre-defined ‘pick lists’ of tasks (e.g. shower, check vitals, change bandage, toilet etc) that facility staff can simply tick as they perform them i.e. pick a client, tick relevant tasks then save (can also enter in event notes as required).

Throughout the course of the day, the Pocket PC synchronises with the Res~Call Server and updates the selected tasks against the relevant clients (within the main Res~Call database).  This then performs 2 key functions; 

  • Full reporting of ‘tasks’ across all residents - for family interest as well as auditing purposes
  • Where applicable, the tasks have associated stock codes which are then automatically available for sundry billing at the end of each billing period (which Res~Call also drives)

Full commercial release is expected 2nd Quarter 2010.
