DealerLink is an inventory / order processing solution designed for
franchise operations / dealer distribution networks as well as companies with
multiple branches.
The key to DealerLink's success is in its simplistic approach to operational
use. It has been designed to be used "offline" whereby users can perform tasks
such as checking latest stock pricing / discontinued stock and entering or
editing of purchase orders.
Once the user(s) has completed entering or editing purchase orders for the
day/week or even hour – they can then simply connect to the internet and upload
the orders to the "head office" (Master Distributor / franchise / supplier) back
office system. Confirmation of orders received and processed can also be
configured by the head office to notify the user.
Once connected - other key features include the automatic downloading of
latest price files if locally downloaded price file is out of date, filtering of
allowed stock on an individual basis depending on what you want to allow the
dealer/branch to order as well as allowing stock lookups to check availability
(stock in hand at head office).
As DealerLink is used (installed) at a local
level and its use of compression methods, it only requires
a dial up connection to perform its uploading of orders and
downloading of latest price files, negating the need for all
dealer/braches to have large dedicated internet connections.
